If you are strictly using bartering to gain demonstrated experience, we would recommend an initial Consultation at our offices located at l236 King St. W. (next to the McMaster Children's Hospital).   This meeting will start the process and will enable us to get to know you better, your skill sets, training, formal education, experience (demonstrated and paid).  You will be introduced to various career job databases that will give you a good understanding of where you can work with your skill sets, etc. and research opportunities for volunteer placements in lieu of barter dollars.  We have databases that gage into various levels (entry level to experienced) so we can best value what you're volunteer hours are worth.  At the same time, we will match you with interested employers that need your help and can give you the demonstrated experience you need to land your 'Dream Job'.  The more volunteer hours you put in, the more you can draw from the databank; it's that easy! 

Once you have gained the skills you need (demonstrated experience required for the employer you wish to work for), we offer a placement service for a nominal fee for placing you in the 'Dream Job' of interest.  A 3 month probationary period will be offered to ensure a 'fit' on both sides, and this is also a good way to determine whether this is the job for you!  There is no obligation to sign a contract if you are not satisfied for any reason.  Should you wish to research other potential employers, we would be glad to start over with you to ensure you are happy with the job that might determine your quality of life, and job satisfaction/happiness quotient for years to come.  So no need to rush the process, or settle for a company that isn't quite what you were looking for.  We can investigate up to three potential fields within your industry should you wish to try any one or all three of choice.  During this phase, you will also learn about potential barriers that might prevent you from landing that 'Dream Job', and work together to try to alleviate them.  In our Consulting process we also include several learning tools that are tried and proven such as personality, learning, values tests that will help you make that all important decision.
